Talk event: “Disability in Contemporary Japanese and German Literature”

To mark the June 2025 publication of the German edition of Hunchback  by Ichikawa Sao, the Japan Cultural Institute in Cologne (Japanisches Kulturinstitut Köln) is pleased to announce a talk event on the theme of disability in contemporary Japanese and German literature. Join us for a compelling evening addressing questions surrounding the book’s themes of autonomy, sexuality, and social marginalization.
