Report: Author Events by Wataya Risa Organized by the Japan Foundation, Beijing

In October 2024 the Japan Foundation, Beijing invited author Wataya Risa to give talks themed on literature and her experience living in Shanghai. At both the Hangzhou Heart-to-Heart Community Center (Zhejiang Gongshang University) and the Consulate-General of Japan, Shanghai, Wataya spoke about the cultural differences between Japan and China that she felt during a former residency in Shanghai, touching on ways the experience abroad transformed her personally.
